UBC, and especially the PDFO, would like to take this opportunity to thank our Postdocs for their hard work and for all the contributions they have made. After a two-year hiatus, the PDFO is pleased to be hosting our Annual BBQ event on Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. John's College.
Join us for check-in from 11:45 AM, followed by the barbecue at 12:00. The event is expected to last between 1.5 to 2 hours.
As part of this event, postdocs will be eligible to win prizes from a variety of on- and off-campus donors; in order to receive a prize, attendance is required at the time of the draw. Thank you to our generous prize donors!
REGISTRATION
Registration in this session is required, please email the PDFO (postdoctoral.fellows@ubc.ca) if you are interested in attending this event. Those successfully registered will receive an email within a week of the session date. As we have to provide numbers to the caterer in advance of the session, registrations are requested by 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
NO-SHOW PENALTY: If you register and do not attend or cancel after 3pm on the day before the event, it may affect your eligibility to join future events. To avoid this no-show penalty, please cancel by at least 3pm the day before the event by e-mailing postdoctoral.fellows@ubc.ca.

This session will be held in-person at St. John's College. If weather permits, the event will be held outdoors in the courtyard. Tables and chairs will be put on a grassy outdoor area. In the event of rain, the event will be held in the indoor dining room, which is on the ground floor of the building. On the day of the event, the PDFO will post signage around St. John's College directing participants to the venue.
