Applications are invited for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship supported by the collaborative research and training program Pacific Rim Ocean Data Mobilization and Technology (PRODIGY) and the Canadian Pacific Robotic Ocean Observing Facility (C-PROOF). The successful candidate will join the C-PROOF team and conduct research on ocean turbulence using observations collected by ocean gliders and other autonomous platforms. They will also contribute to the PRODIGY training program through interdisciplinary research, teaching, mentoring and stakeholder engagement.

I am working in partnership with the Hakai Institute on the Sentinels of Change Alliance project, monitoring biodiversity in the Salish Sea. I focus primarily on seaweed ecology and biodiversity, in particular the impacts of climate-related stressors on the seasonality, successional dynamics and environmental tolerances of NE Pacific seaweeds.

Project Overview:
I am working at the quantum matter institute under the grand challenge titled 'Atomistic approach to emergent properties of disordered materials'. I am primarily using computational techniques to study high entropy oxides, but I also do some synthesis and structural characterization to better understand the phase stability of these materials.
My research interests span OSes, compartmentalization, and more generally systems, security, virtualization, networking, and free-software.
As part of my postdoc, I am exploring various themes around isolation, compartmentalization, and secure software development practices.
