Project Description

The overarching goal of our project is to understand how to co-produce nature-based solutions to support both human health and environmental justice as our cities transform toward resilient futures. Over the next three years, we will advance our goal through three project objectives:
(1)  Analyze climate change vulnerability across three Vancouver neighborhoods, centring the lived experiences and adaptation strategies of community members
(2)  Examine how nature-based solutions can reduce vulnerability and support community-based adaptive strategies
(3)  Explore processes to co-produce nature-based and associated climate adaptive policies and practices that support human health and improve environmental justice
