At BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, Women's Health Research Institute and BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services Research Institute, we are proud to support our inspiring female leaders who are making groundbreaking discoveries and innovations in research. During this unique event, you will have the opportunity to discover the significant role women play in science and technology and explore the diverse careers available in health research.
Our Women in Science evening strives to empower the community and promote an equitable and inclusive learning environment. People of all genders are welcome to attend.
How to Participate:
Participation is open to high school students, university students, healthcare professionals and members of the general public. This year, there will be two ways to participate:
- In-person: Engage with our inspiring leaders in-person at BC Children's Hospital.
- In-person participants will be invited to join us for a networking reception after the event for the opportunity to interact with panelists. Light refreshments will be provided.
- Virtually Live: Engage with our inspiring leaders online in real-time.
The registration form will be opened from Monday, January 8 at 9:00 am to Sunday, January 21 at 11:59 pm. Participants can submit the registration form any time during this period and will be selected based on a random lottery draw. For more information, please see our FAQ.
